Here are answers to some general questions:
  • Rollaways? The hotel does not have rollaway beds.
  • Cribs? The hotel has cribs but I suggest not relying on them. People have been disappointed before.
  • Can I reserve for 1 night only? Yes, but you must leave your room by 12, Shabbos noon.
  • How can I make sure our rooms are next or close to each other? Book one reservation for all rooms. On the reservation site, click on "EDIT RESERVATION" and add rooms. If already reserved "MODIFY" reservation by adding rooms.
  • Can I book with points? Yes, but chances are very likely that only King suites will be available for those bookings.
  • Can I book with 3rd party agencies, like Chase rewards, Expedia, Priceline etc.? Yes, but the hotel has certain rooms put aside for those reservations and most likely it will be a king suite and possibly handicapped or something similar. (you can't trust what the site says)
  • When is davening? How do I deal with the doors? A schedule of זמנים and other IMPORTANT INFORMATION will be available at the front desk upon arrival. Please read ALL information.
  • What about food? Bring your own food. "Shabbos Packages" are available at some local supermarkets. The greatest Shabbos Package is available from Satmar Meats. See below.
  • Where can we eat together? Tables in ballrooms are available for rent. Reserve early as tables are limited. Private ballrooms may be available. No eating allowed in public places.
  • Where can I warm up my food? Crock pots or hotplates are officially not allowed in the rooms. Shelves in our Kiddush warmers are available for $30 per shelf. Each shelf fits 2 9" x 13" pans or 4 5" x 7" pans (see below). Shelves must be reserved in advance as we have limited shelves. Text us your name and how many shelves you would like to reserve.
  • Siddurim and Seforim? Our Shul is fully stocked with "Siddurim", "Chumashim" and many "Seforim". As a reminder a $40 Shul charge is collected to cover all costs. Even if you booked with hotel directly the Shul fee applies.
  • Hot water and Coffee? The Shul is fully equipped with hot water, coffee, tea and milk.
  • What can my kids do there? The hotel does not tolerate kids running around unsupervised. We strongly recommend bringing along some games to keep the kids occupied in free time.
  • Will there be private swimming? Yes. "Motze Shabbos" we have 1 hour for Women and 1 hour for Men.
  • Is there a Mikvah? The closest Mikveh is at Chabad Yeshiva, 226 Sussex Avenue, Morristown, NJ. The pool is open for Mikvah use Shabbos morning between 6am and 7am. WITH BATHING SUIT ONLY!
  • Lost and Found.  If you left something in the Hotel, please call the hotel at 973-334-1440 and ask for housekeeping. If you by mistake brought something home from the hotel, like Sforim etc., you can call 718-387-1233 ext. 2214, leave a message and someone will return your call.

Just a reminder. Only this size pan will be accepted in the warmers, anything else will not fit on shelves!!!
